Lauren Weintraub Britton, PhD. is a Sr. Program Manager in the Open Source Program Office (OSPO) in VMware's Office of the CTO. She's been at VMware since 2014 and joined OSPO in January 2017. Lauren is the program manager for all outbound open source contributions. She is also the architect for VMware's current process and outbound tooling called Upstream Contrib. This includes contributing to third-party projects, starting new VMware-originated open source projects, and contributing to projects on an employee's own time.
