The Civil Infrastructure Platform (CIP) is an effort to develop a super long-term supported (SLTS) open source "base layer" for industrial grade software. In this talk, Noriaki Fukuyasu will explain about the reason why the industry needed this effort, then describe the current development status of the SLTS kernel and testing environment. Nori will specifically take some time to explain the development policy and process of the SLTS (Super Long Term Support) Kernel by CIP.
