Project Best Practices - Dan Kohn, Cloud Native Computing Foundation

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

CNCF is one of the newest Linux Foundation projects, but that has enabled to learn from others and try to crystallize a series of best practies. These range from separating the technical and business boards, to lowering prices to bring in more end users, to using marketing automation on email lists, into how we take a largely hands off approach to the governance of our individual projects. This talk will review those best practices, contrast them with other organizations --- including the Apache Software Foundation and OpenStack -- and discuss lessons learned.
