The Eclipse Foundation was the first open source foundation established as a 501(c)6 trade association, a model which has now become commonplace. Mike has been the Executive Director of the Eclipse Foundation since its inception. In this presentation he will talk about the lessons that he has learned at Eclipse over the past 12 years. Those lessons range from running what is effectively a small business, to balancing the demands of the industry's largest players, to dealing with the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.
