Chris Rice will talk about AT&T’s network cloud vision and ECOMP, the infrastructure delivery platform that powers AT&T’s software-centric network. AT&T is working with the Linux Foundation to open source ECOMP and create a community where others contribute to the code and advance the platform, which will ultimately lead to widespread use of ECOMP. He will also provide an update on the company’s goal to virtualize 75% of its target network architecture by 2020, along with its corporate-wide skills transformation effort to equip employees for the shift to a software-defined infrastructure.
